Her question hangs in the air, between them.
“Do you?” he retorts. His eyes are fixed on her hands, which are wrung around the cup of coffee she’s ordered forty minutes earlier.
“Sometimes, I do. And I wonder about the ‘what-ifs’… But then again, we wouldn’t be who, and where, we are today…”
Draco looks at her face. There are lines on it, as well as there are on his.
“For me, it’s the same”.
Hermione looks into his eyes and smiles. They wouldn’t be together otherwise.

Mi guilty pleasure♥, me gustó mucho eso de los what-ifs, pero que si hubiese sido de otra manera tal vez no estarían juntos y por eso está todo bien cómo resultaron las cosas.
