I thought I knew what I wanted to post but the moment I opened Semagic, everything went blank so I'll try to do my best and not ramble off (much).

First important thing to say is that I've FINALLY started to watch Doctor Who again [if you don't know what's the show about, click on the name. If you do and haven't watched it yet... WHAT THE HECK ARE YOU WAITING FOR?!].

Also yesterday, Merlin's Series 4 started. EPIC. IT'S BLOODY EPIC. Following, you'll find my incoherent, itemized thoughts about it.

On a musical note, Coldplay's new album is released in October and so far I've only liked two songs: "Charlie Brown" and "Paradise". I don't know what to make of it :/

Thanks to ssundaymorning help I was able to customize my current layout so it looks exactly the same no matter what screen set-ups you have. Much ♥ to her.

That said, let's move on to why I haven't been commenting on you LJs lately. It's not that I don't like/care/love you anymore, it's just I don't have much time as I've started working full time and attending classes everyday. This means I end up tired, with barely enough energy and conciousness to eat, take care of basic hygiene, study, lurk (not necessarily on that order, tho).

So that's the story. Once I manage to balance things, I'll stop lurking some and comment your entries every now and then.

And to colour up (?) the post a MV. "Chasing Cars" by Snow Patrol, a song with which I've fallen in love.

Probably most of you must be already aware of what's going on in Libya. The situation was made known to me not through TV nor Newspapers, it was actually the Internet that brought the situation to my attention.



If you still don't know what's going on, here's a briefing of the happening till now:

"Inspired by pro-democracy uprisings across the Arab world, Libyan dissidents had planned a "day of rage" for Thursday, Feb. 17. On February 15, security forces arrested a prominent lawyer named Fathi Terbil, who had represented families of some of the 1,200 prisoners massacred by Libyan security forces at Abu Slim prison in 1996. Once released later that day, Terbil set up a webcam overlooking Benghazi’s main square, where some of the families had been protesting. With help from exiled Libyans in Canada and around the world, the video spread rapidly on the Internet.

Al Jazeera Arabic conducted a phone interview with Libyan novelist Idris al-Mesmari, who reported that police were shooting at protesters—and then the connection was lost. (Mesmari was reportedly arrested by Libyan authorities.) Shortly thereafter, thousands more began battling Qaddafi's troops, and hundreds are reported to have been killed. "Both protesters and the security forces have reason to believe that backing down will likely mean their ultimate death or imprisonment," says the New York Times."

I'm not very good with words but I feel this is just awful. People who want their freedom are being brutalized, soldiers who refuse to shoot their own are being killed, others are being buried alive, women are raped, and a whole country is being repressed and slaughtered.

Here's a petition for the UN to intervene. It takes less than 30 seconds to complete it and you can help by just filling the spaces required. PLEASE SIGN!

Do not turn a blind eye on this. We might be faraway and unable to do much, but what little you can do or give it'll be worth it. Make your friends, family, acquaintances aware of this. The Libyan Government is shutting down communication, not allowing journalists and reporters to cover the revolutions and their ungodly actions. SPREAD THE WORD!

The world hates me. To top it all, today's my mum's birthday and I might not get home for the singing and cake-ing. *is super mad and sad*

Raconto semanal: Porque es bueno hablar de cualquier cosa y descargarse de esta manera.

El Lunes (feriado. YAY! Y el cumple de sol84), lo dediqué a hacer mi parte de un TP de Gramática. Dicha parte, que era poco, me llevó... CINCO horas hacerlo. *facepalm* Anyway, después de haberlo terminado me puse a ver los últimos capítulos de House M.D. y OMG!

Con ANSIAS extremas espero el mes de Septiembre y ver cómo continúa House M.D. ¡Qué serie!

También aproveché a ver los últimos capítulos de Grey's Anatomy; el martes y el miércoles esto, días que me pedí para estudiar en el trabajo pero que claro... No estudié, salvo por el miércoles a la noche.

El final de temporada de Grey's... fue de lagrimas. Será que me estoy volviendo sensiblera o qué, pero prácticamente estuve derrochando lagrimas cual dique roto en los cinco últimos episodios. ( Grey's Anatomy Spoilers )

Volviendo a los días de estudio en los que no estudié, fueron tomados porque tenía que rendir el final de (traten de decirlo todo junto sin respiro de por medio) "Geografía y Cultura de Estados Unidos y Otros Países de Lengua Inglesa" (what a name, dude!). Como dije, no estudié hasta el Miércoles por la noche, sesión que fue interrumpida para ver Gossip Girl, cenar, revisar mails y el Facebook (es VICIOOO), retomada a las 23.30 pm y finalizada a las 3.30 am. El insomnio y el sueño inquieto pagaron sus frutos porque APROBÉ la materia. No que sea una materia importante ni nada, pero desde el año pasado la tenía en final y por diversos motivos -como profesoras hipócritas y malvadas, desgano causado en el primer llamado por la profesora esa en el segundo- no la daba. Y ahora que la he dado, es una materia menos APROBADA sobre cual no volveré a pensar a menos que sea vitalmente necesario.

Cambiando de tema, hoy leí el último capítulo que ha salido de Naruto. La confrontación de turno se ha resulto pero lo que me llamó la atención y me pareció IN-CRE-Í-BLE-MEN-TE desconcertante es que

Although it might have looked like this journal had been abandoned, let me clarify that it hasn't been so. Life hasn't been exactly in the way, but a huge block due to some stuff ongoing in RL have been keeping me from posting. This entry is to let you all know I'm still alive and so as to HAVE a least an entry in March (yes, I'm a little bit obsessed).
